This design is called Herz Rot Weiss, and is by Jean Louis Grandsire. It's taken me nearly two years to complete, but I think it came out well. I'll be getting it framed when I get back to the States in a couple of months. This makes my fifth finish for the challenge. Yay!
The only rule is to have fun, keep an eye for you threads and be always in stitches.
Pick 15 projects that are ALREADY STARTED and FINISH them.
ha, there you are, my challenge to you. Not new ones coz we all know there are far more than 15 to which we would like to start.

On the first day....
I am working, really I am! It was SUcH fun to pick up this for the challenge. I actually WaNted to finish it but just needed that wee little kick...so thanks. This is Day 1 of the 12 days of Christmas by T.Wentzler. I actually did all the borders, then came back to Day 1, then decided to fill in all the "days"
see below
this is the pice is the 12 squares I actually only have to stitch in the words for 3 more squares then will begin to stitch all the "of Christmas" on each square. I break it up by stitching on square 9 then on 2 then on 11--you get the picture. Makes it seem fresh somehow!
