My first challenge piece is fini~~!!

Here is my first completion of 15 in our 2011 challenge..........

Other than having to slow down to make a good satin stitch border (above the alphabet), it was a relatively quick finish.............Bless its heart, its been in the basket for way too long~~

So, I am off to see which challenge piece will be next..............stay tuned.................

I have decided.....

When I won this beautiful pattern from Diane Williams earlier in 2010, I just had to plant a few stitches in the linen to make sure the fabric was what I could be happy with...... and it was.... But, with everything going on, I knew I would hold off and devote proper time to it once 2011 arrived...

As much as I want this to be my first challenge piece......

I am going to have to go with my oldest challenge piece...Nabby's Garden....Not only is the poor thing 20 years old, it is over half way done.....So, in an effort to syke myself up with a semi-quick finish, I am going to crank out Nabby and then get to LHN Family Sampler.......
so......wish me luck as I am putting nose to grindstone hoping to help Nabby finally finish her garden~~
