I finished 'This Heart of Mine' by Ink Circles. Not too happy about it, because I started it some years back and am now resuming working it, and as I was on the last corner, found a mistake where I was off by one row in the very beginning work. No big deal, you say? Well, it totally affected the last corner, and I had to adjust the design (read: improvise) to fit somewhat symmetrically. I don't like it and may do something more to fix it and make it into a small pillow, but I also may just THROW it OUT! Not happy! Anyway, here it is, not even ironed:
Crossing it off my list, and giving away the chart! AND, moving on!
Looks good to me! I like your thread. That looks like a tough pattern, one that'd be easy to get off on...you improvised nicely, I'd say.
ReplyDeleteLovely job

I agree with you...make a pillow and move on. Don't throw it out!
ReplyDeleteStitching is really fun...some times more than other times!

Dont throw it out. Remake it by cutting it up. Make a scissor fob out of some of it, a little pincushion, the rest make a little needlebook.
ReplyDeleteIf you do this - only u will know the mistake is there. Probably it will not be seen.
Oh how I feel your pain! But since I don't know who it is supposed to look, nothing jumps out as a mistake. Make it into something cute and forget about the mistake.
