The only rule is to have fun, keep an eye for you threads and be always in stitches.
Pick 15 projects that are ALREADY STARTED and FINISH them.
ha, there you are, my challenge to you. Not new ones coz we all know there are far more than 15 to which we would like to start.

Weekend progess on WIP's.......

I have been working on my Anniversaries of the Heart series by Blackbird Designs...I was able to complete my 7th block...The freebie block.... You might notice I am stitching this piece in a different order...Thought I'd mix things up a bit.... So, here are the 7 completed squares...8 more to go!!

Here is the up close look of this weekends finished square.....

I was also able to work on the bottom band of the 1738 Scottish Sampler by Threads of Gold....I had to put it down though..... just needed a little bit of a change....  But, progress is progress....

I am hoping this sampler will be a Jan 2011 finish.... That would bring me to two challenge finishes in the month of Jan....I'd be happy with that as these pieces are on the LARGE side.....

Well, school was cancelled today due to snow and ice....rare for us in the Carolinas... And our snow makeup day will be Saturday...(sad face..) So for now, I will keep stitching and watch the winter wonderland outside my window of the craftroom....................

Until next time,  Happy Stitching~~~

  1. Fabulous! I am in the process of purchasing these designs if I can get them so I can do that sampler. How large is it! I am thinking pretty massive. Can't wait to see your finish. It will be one of my starts this year I am sure.

  2. Faye--the colors you are using are so lovely! I really like that last square. And your Scottish Sampler is coming along nicely! We don't have snow yet, in Virginia Beach (I just checked) but it is early yet! Could use a bit of time off to stitch! Hugs.

Isn't it so much fun to step back and see all the blocks coming together on Anniversaries? This has been one of the most fun projects I have ever worked on. Love the designs and trying to decide who to dedicate each block to.
