Here are a few of my 15, I started the Homespun Elegance Delivering Pumpkins last fall, I finished the stitching in april, I finally did the framing, I added the star because it looked a little bare in the sky, I used a unknown fabric I found this in my stash pile, it is 28 count and I used the threads called for.
This is a Chessie and Me pattern I started this I cannot even tell you how long ago, I finally finished stitching this last month, I tried to rotate the picture but it would not cooperate with me so sorry if you have to turn your head. This is also a 28 count unkown fabric, I used different threads then what it called for.
This is a penny rug I cut out for last fall and finally stitched it last month at a retreat in wisconson, I love this little guy, the pattern called for white teeth but I left them out because it would look a little different something I just would not like.
This is another Chessie and Me I started last spring, I love this pattern, I did this on 32 count linen, I wanted to put it on a sewing tool box, I think it looks o.k. I stained the box and used ricrack trim.
Well that is all for now I do hope more people post their wips on this site, I am going to try to post more often, now that I am getting my mojo back whatever that means.
Happy Stitching
Catherine

ReplyDeleteOh, I love that little pumpkin! I'd never heard the term "penny rug" before! What is it? And where have I been?!

The star was the perfect touch, you have a good eye. And that sewing tool box is awesome, Linda. What a good idea!
